Resume Length
How long your resume should be. Usually one page, sometimes two.
Resume length is how many pages your resume spans. For most professionals, the target is one page. Two pages is acceptable for senior professionals with 10+ years of experience. Three or more pages is almost never appropriate for a standard job application (academic CVs are the exception).
The right length depends on your career stage. Recent graduates and early-career professionals should always target one page. Mid-career professionals should also aim for one page but can justify a second page if every bullet adds genuine value. Senior executives can use two pages; anything longer starts to feel like padding. Never expand your resume just to fill space — cut ruthlessly.
